art on the aem rail how does the hole that the stock regulator would have gone in get covered? is it pre-threaded?
Yeah, it is threaded and the rail comes with plugs to screw in.

Art-
My weld fitting ISNT here yet j/p its probably on its way..anyhow,
i just bought my fittings for the aem rail to the sx regulator which i believe is pretty much the same. so here's the list using Goodridge part number:

3x -6 male to 9/16-18 Oring part#5172
3x -6 SGL nipple 45 hose end part#1311
2 feet of -6 stainless line

remember this is only from the rail to the fpr..the reason there's three is because the third one is for the return line! This crap cost me 189 bucks from NAPA autoparts. This basically will cover the fpr, rail and return part...now its time to figure out the filter to rail part... all this fittings gave me more headache than finding a turbo!

Actually art...

The stock fuel rail is 12mm x 1.0 on the inlet side

The top of the fuel filter is 12mm x 1.25.

I just measured this myself

Are you sure Dustin because I used a 12mm x 1.25 to -6AN on both my AEM filter and stock fuel rail. I used the banjo bolt for the stock filter to check the size.

Are we talking about the threaded stud on the stock fuel rail? or did you remove that somehow? I can find no way to remove it on my rail.

o-rings go between the fpr and the adapter..its just "like" a washer. its basically a -6 male to 9/16-18 adapter with an o-ring.

Art- what size line did you use with the AEM fuel filter?

you guys are the ones with the batteries on the wrong side... My build date is May 1993! DC2 #288

I know somebody is gonna ask! The blue thing on the rail is a vacuum manifold. The FPR, BOV and boost gauge are connected to it. It has 6 ports and it cost me $8 from a air tool shop!

Can the FPR go on either side of the fuel rail? differences of being against fuelrail or fuel filter or against firewall?
Drealgsr,
Is your right foot is the clutch? And is 1st gear near you or away from you?
I was surprised when I saw battery on right side and clutch and brake reservoir on left side. lol

pedal setup is the same as US cars and the placement of the FPR on the firewall does not cause in psi problems.

Regulator always has to be after the fuel rail. You cannot leave your stock one.
