Re: AEM fuel rail (SEFI8LOxCivic)
High Volume Fuel Rail
AEM High Volume Fuel Rails are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and feature a 1/2-inch fuel bore capable of flowing enough fuel to support most high-performance engines. This larger bore also dampens the back pulse created by oversized injectors in high-output applications. The AEM fuel rail also works perfectly with stock injectors. Each fuel rail includes an additional port for the installation of a nitrous set-up or external fuel pressure gauge. The ends of the fuel rail are tapped to accept either -6 or -8 line and a custom fitting allows for the use of the stock fuel hose. AEM’s High Volume Fuel Rail kit includes new injector O-rings, fuel line fittings, comprehensive installation instructions and AEM decals.

Re: AEM fuel rail (immortal)
Thanks imortal. I found the same info on AEM's website, but I bought some fitting to fit the stock rail but I changed my mind. Now I need to buy more expensive fittings. But oh well, it'll sure look nice.

Re: AEM fuel rail (immortal)
sounds like an awesome setup. i had thoughts of building my car up also, but ever since i spun a rod bearing on my b16, i've had second thoughts and decided i'm going to concentrate on finishing school.
do you have a majority of your turbo parts already? because one of my friends who also quit racing is selling an XS GTS sized intercooler, XS TO4X full T4, and revhard Equal length manifold (the one kenny tran has). Are you interested?
i think for your car you should definately go to a straight T4.

Re: AEM fuel rail (SEFI8LOxCivic)
I know for a fact the ends of the rail are 6AN. I measured them yesterday due to the fact i am having problems trying to get a rail and regulator combo. If you do get the AEM regulator its a strange fitting for the return. I think its 9/16-18 or something like that. If you dont use one that rail looks to be tapped for 1/4 npt or 4an but im not positive.

Re: AEM fuel rail (boosted3g)
Well according to AEM's website, you choose what fitting you want. For example, if you have stock fuel line you can still use the 12mmx1.25 banjo fitting. Or you can change it out to a -6 or -8 fitting.

Re: AEM fuel rail (Arturbo)

Re: AEM fuel rail (Arturbo)
arturbo,
I know you WERE (past tense) going to modify your stock fuel rail to use with aeromotive fpr. What happened man? Now I am at it alone.
I need to know the size to order the AN flare to metric adapter for the stock rail.
-6AN/XXmm
or is the stockrail an AN fitting?
yours is still gonna look like this right?
thanks for the pix Mark

Re: AEM fuel rail (SO3Burner)
art on the aem rail how does the hole that the stock regulator would have gone in get covered? is it pre-threaded?

Re: AEM fuel rail (lucas569)
My AEM isnt here yet. But the threaded stud on the the stock fuel rail is 12mm x 1.25 and I was gonna thread the hole, or port, where the stock regulator was at. But my order from FREAKIN Baker's never showed up, so I got tired of waiting and ordered from Summit and the rail from Ben.
