aebs sleeved block
im buying a aebs sleeved block and was wondering what are the signs of a sleeve sinking/sunked sleeve? i just want to make sure the block is not f'd up. thanks in advance!

i would not wast my money on a aebs sleeved block i have been hearing a lot of problems with there sleeves lately and if you buy it used your taking a chance because they will not cover any warranty. lots of shady guys that will sell there blocks because they have a problem with it and figure better to sell it and burn the next guy then get burned them self bottom line if you buy it used its at your own risk

lol if you need to ask don't buy it your not qualified to use it. don't be cheep just buy ether a fresh sleeved block or send yours to get sleeved remember you get what you pay for

its not that i lack mechanical skills its just that i never had to check the deck on a block before so... yea anyways, i took the block to the machine shop and they said its fine. Thanks HT.

so you took it to a machine shop and had them check the deck well thats all fine and good except all that tells you is that the deck is good it does not tell you if the block is leaking mixing coolant and oil. it does not tell you if all the little holes in the sleeve will match up with your gasket because a lot of there sleeves block coolant ports and if thats the case good luck with the hot spots and blowing gaskets. oh well at least you cant blame ht for bad advise because we all told you to stay away from it the only one you can blame is your self for buying a junk block.good luck with that
