They are for road courses, and I use them for that, but they hold up well on the street and last a while if you don't shave them, so I've been running them on the street as well.

add a 2nd wastegate and get a good boost controller like an AMS-1000 so you can control how the turbo/boost ramps up.

you see so many people running big turbo's that go from making 150 horsepower to 500 horsepower in less than 1000rpm and wonder why it spins.

power management and control is everything. the #1 thing that causes wheel spin, is wheel spin. once it starts spinning, its not going to stop...so you have to stop it before it starts.

with a good controller.....you can make the power curve look however you want, or better yet, however it needs to look. a bit of an extreme example....

same car just applying a steady target....

gotta stay internal to keep my a\c... I will post my dyno graph as soon as I get it digitalized, you will see that it is smoother than that, with a very useable power curve.

I was going to post something to the same affect that joe just posted. That's by far the perfect explanation anyone could of given in MHO. Nice to see their is some tech on this board still.

Hahah. Seriously dude, there are many AC compatible manifolds out there that you can run external gate on and keep AC.

I have gotten about 8000 miles out a set of BFG drag Radials. 225. On a B series, making around 260.

after they where worn out. I turned up the power and went 11.00@135 (500whp).

H22's Really make some power I have seen people Have problems hooking up with a 25" slick in a delsol. making around 550 or so. I dont know. when does that power start coming on?

im about to once my hoosiers are done...the 225/50/15 hoosier DR's work good but more expensive than the 225/50/15 MT DR's.

to answer op's question:

drag suspension (14k-18k in the rear) and alignment. i like to have the car about a 1/4" lower in the rear.
hoosier or MT drag radials. get the biggest your setup will allow (gearing)
full race traction bar
solid motor mounts or some 95a ones.

thanks alot for the list, I am going to get started with some bigger drags and a traction bar probably within 2 weeks... I wish there were more choices for 16" wheels...

lol i know, i was going to buy a set of 15's, but that changes my whole budget situation from 2 tires to 4 tires and wheels, which will take funds away from traction bars and rear susp... big time balancing act right now!

youre going to have to get 15's. they dont make anything for 16's.

and you only have to get 2 15's for the front.. that is what i did. two 15's in the front and 16's in the rear..of course theyre both the same wheel front and rear

you just solved that dilemma... that is exactly what i am going to do. those are 225/50r15? how wide are those wheels? what is the offset? is your car lowered at all? how bad if any rubbing issues are there?

The real questions should be...

Do you have stock axles?
Do you have a LSD?
Is your trans built?
(and how much power/tq are you putting down)

This is the only thing that is pushing me away from making 500. I'm trying to keep ac/ps and it's my dd(I have another car but it's a piece of .... )

the real answers are...

dss level 2.9 axles

quaife lsd

stock trans

it has ac, but no ps, it is my daily driver, and it is tuned to be daily driven on 500whp with 93 oct as stated in my sig, also is well over 350 ft lbs torque...

they are rota gt3's and yes the front tires are 225/50/15...remember 225 does not mean the width of the tire. they are a bit taller than the 205/40/16 tires in the rear.

and yes the car is lowered on PIC performance drag suspension = stiff as *****. and no there is no rubbing whatsoever anywhere at anytime.
