Adjusting the HKS SS BOV
I turned the screw to different settings. No difference? I even took out the screw and still no difference. Anyone ever adjust their HKS SS?

Re: Adjusting the HKS SS BOV (BG Boost)
Not only can you adjust the HKS SS BOV but you can put different filter inserts into the actual BOV. There are 3 inserts than you can get. The original silver, the purple insert (what I got) and the gold insert. The purple insert makes a slightly different sound while the gold insert is suppose to be unheard and stealth like.
Watch your boost to see if are losing boost under hard acceleration. If you are than tighten it. If the boost sounds to tight and seems that BOV is struggle to get all the air out. Meaning it if the air is not escaping at once with a nice crisp sound than it may be too tight. Also a BOV that is too tight is prone to turbo compressor surges which is really bad.
It takes awhile to adjust and tune it but you will eventually get it right. I had to adjust my BOV like 20 times and it all depends how much boost you are doing.
