Adjusting the fuel pressure with my setup.
Ok setup is greddy @7psi, 255lph in-tank pump, along with the 310cc's, with an aem fpr....
Now with vacuum disconnected should it be set to 42 psi? and do I need to close off the vaccum when making this adjustment?
And with the vacuum connected what should I expect to see?
I think it's my fuel pressure adjustment that has the car running like crap..Thanks guys,
Nick

Re: Adjusting the fuel pressure with my setup. (boost killz)
Anyone please... I am getting desperate for a sure answer and the search does not have anything concerning my setup.
Turbo isn't fun when it doesn't work properly..
TIA

are you running lean? I believe you want fuel pressures of around 38 psi at idle, which is 48 psi with the vacuum hose disconnected. Try turning up the pressure to 48 and see if the car runs any better.
EDIT: actually you can just adjust it with the hose connected too.. turn it up to around 38psi with the hose connected and see if that helps

Dave I just spoke to Abid and confirmed again... Reason could be cuz simply that blue box POS cant sompensate for the extra volume of fuel from the pump... Ahh I love this ...

Re: Adjusting the fuel pressure with my setup. (downpipe)
take out the intank and do bosch in line fuel pump spliced in after the stock intank, the fuel pressure that builds up between the intank, to inline, to rail is better than the crapo holley 255lph ones......no offense......go to endyn.com for more info...then you'll better understand the difference between fuel pressure, fuel volume......cos it's a heavilied discussed topic in h.t.....other than that do a search.
