Default adding oil for compression check

when doing a compression check.. to see if its the valves... head gasket... or piston rings... u can add oil into the chamber... how much oil do you add?

That is for checking the rings to check the seal. You are supposed to add 6-8 sqirts from a diaphram style oil can.

if you want to know the condition of your valves... head gasket... or piston rings.. do a leakdown test my friend.
