Probally alot of stuff I forgot. This car was 100% built by myself. Sean from Torquefreaks tuned. All I have to say is I wouldnt take any Aem car to anybody else I dont care where you live fly him out he is one of the best. I should be getting my dyno graphs either tonight or tom. I will post them but here is what I was told.
320hp and ???tq at 10lbs on pump gas
417hp and 309tq at 19lbs on 114

He wanted to take it higher but had an issue with intercooler piping blowing off. Iwill get that fixed and learn how to drive this then we will see what we can do later. Thanks for all the help guys

Thanks guys it will be fun I have jim fab bars and some 255/50/16 bfg dr I wil rolling on the street.
BTW Sean charges $850 for a tune but that is if you bring him the car and all he has to do is tune it. I would have some extra money put aside becouse something always comes up. at least it did with me. I had a fpr take a crap so that is why I am running the Aem now. Give the shop a call and talk to Sean he will be a little more helpful then me

that is a full street tune, drivability, and power tuning. IF you have ever driven a car that Sean has tuned you would pay tha in a heartbeat. Drive just like stock but with a lot more power. Plus you get A+++ service and I am willing to pay a little extra for that.

$820 to tune?! Holy ****, I need to start tuning again.

Those are some insane numbers for only 10psi on that SC61. Anyone know where I can find a compressor map for one?

Also, what FPR was it that quit on you before?

SC60. Still good numbers/psi

Don't cry about forgetting the regulator man. I was just asking. I still think you got raped for the tuning though. At 120/hr for tuning (which is astronomical) and a total of $850, I gues it took this guy over 7 hrs to tune the car. Wow. Base maps are a bitch. Shoulda went Hondata or better still Uberdata

I don't know anything about anything so I can't comment on the dollar figures...but I do know that Sean from Torqufreaks is highly acclaimed in this area and is considered to be some sort of AEM EMS god or something.

Check out his rep on aempower.com

That would explain the $120/hr I guess...as far as it taking 7 hours again I don't know enough to comment.

You guys can say whatever you want about the price of tuning. All I know is customer service is the best it gets. I picked up my car today and drove it around a little (it was raining) and it felt like I was driving a factory car untill I hit about 5k then the thing explodes. If you have any doubts on seans tuning ability then you should see my dyno graph. I bet none of you could tell were vtec cross over by looking at that dyno graph. I can scan them if somebody will host them for me. Im me if you will and I will send them to you. I guess what it comes down to is Sean's ability to tune and the service I got it was well worth it to me. If you guys think I got ripped well so be it but I am very happy with my dealing with torquefreaks and would recc. them to anybody.

I want to see them. Put them on we-todd-did-racing.com or something (or I can if you don't want to open an account).

Tuning out a Vtec cross over is something that any tuner should do in the first place. Aside from that, I'm not saying that you got ripped off for tuning, I'm just saying....ok, maybe I am saying that you got ripped off. Well, not so much ripped off because you got what you paid for. You just paid a rediculous amount for it. Paid too much for the engine management too. And a few other parts, but never the less on the hp.

Look on the bright side, you probably saves 5-6lbs from your raceweight in just your wallet alone!

Yeah, what a dumbass for investing a proportional amount relative to the cost of his engine build-up on engine management and tuning (pardon my sarcasm). Every penny spent on the EMS and Sean's tuning will be the best investment you have made in your car Great #'s!

Right. You may as well have said "he already spent a pile of unneccessary money, might as well keep on spending it!!" Arguements like that are why people still buy B-series Hondatas.

Everything on that car could have been achieved for less without compromising quality. Right down to the tuning. If he can fool him self into believeing that it was a good investment, then I'm certainly not going to argue. It's his money. Why would I care?? So like I was saying, on the numbers.

Only on Honda-tech can a person put all there time and money into a car and meet there goals then post it up and have some jackass critize it. It cames down to the fact that I know I have a lot of parts that are not needed but it is always better safe then sorry. I have more plans for the car and another motor in the works. I love the way this car feels and I need to learn to drive it at the power level then we will put more in it. If you have somebody else that charges you less that you trust with your car then take it to them. If you see how many cars go through that shop then yo would know that there are alot of people who are are not looking for the best price but the quality of work. When you have numerous very high horsepower Supras in there at one time you know he must be doing something right.

How do you know what I paid for any of my parts? You go run your uberdata and tell me how that works out for you.

You don't need an MSD at the power level you are at, and there's a few other parts that you don't need. As far as your car, like I said numerous times, good job on the numbers. I still feel that you paid way too much to achieve that goal. There are many tuners that can give identical results for much less money. If you're happy with it then who am I to argue? Or realistically..why would I care how much you spent on it??

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">If you have somebody else that charges you less that you trust with your car then take it to them</TD></TR></TABLE>

That'd be myself.

I don't know (or care) what you paid for your parts, but even used they're still overpriced. Tell you how my Uberdata works out for me? Okay. The image below shows you my injector mapping in injector duty cycle. You can see my boost level, and my turbo is only a hair smaller than the one you're running, but at double the boost.

My maps for 28psi and race gas are a little different. I can show you those as well if you'd like.
