which action clutch?
okay after reading some stories about act clutches i think i'm gonna go with an action clutch. question is, which one should i get? i'm prolly lookin at no more than 275-300hp in my future setup and i really wanna keep as much streetablility as possible.
I was thinkin bout the 1 MD but i'm jus wonderin how harsh is it and if anyone had any more suggetions
future setup is gsr apexi turbo into and ej.

I recommend 2KS, I have it and love it.
Although it is pretty damn stuff, but sprung so you have some slip area as opposed to a puck which has little or none. And it can hold up to 300lbs of torque, made of kevlar so its basically gonna last a REAL long time unless you dont break it in properly and glaze it.

2md... my buddy has one and its very comparable to my act xtreme plate and 6 puck disc. My setup feels a little more fierce but god for the price, get the 2md

what about clutch chatter, is that something that i will just have to live with...i've also heard of weird noises comin from action clutches. i saw a post awhile back i don't know if the guy ever solved it.
call rocket and ask him. i have driven his KS and his MD. the MD is awesome unsprung, but it chatters bad if u slip it alot. since its lighter your synchros are alot happier. i own the KS and it has really awesome engagement properties. itll engage so smooooth but if u shift fast itll chirp tires. itll also last forever. personally my next clutch is going to be a 6 puck KS unsprung

I have the action 1md.
Very nice pedal pressure..not super stiff so that it hurts ur leg, but it doesnt feel like a stock civic clutch (super mushy)...its just right...sort of a high engagement
dunno about chatter. mine doesnt make any chattering sounds or anything like that, and its been holding up to 300 whp and 270 ft-lbs for 3 months daily now, no problems

so what does the stage's designate? are there any difference between the amount of power the clutch could hold?
for instance is 1ks compared to 2ks in the power it can hold?

For your setup, a 2MS would be good enough. It will hold the amount of HP you will plan to put out on a GSR turbo street setup. Still be comfortable for street driving and good performance for the track.
