Action Clutch..?
i have searched and just cant find what im looking for.
currently i have a sohc turbo in my 00 civic. I have an ACT stage 3 and i love it. The pedal pressure is perfect. Im about to put this gsr motor in and i will be boosting it very soon. So im gonna get a clutch now becuase its much easier. I just cant decide what i want.
Im debating between the Action 2MS and 2KS. I want the pedal to be stiff and still hold the power obviously.
the setup on the GSR motor will be an SC34 at 9 pounds / 3 inch DP / InlinePRO manifold /
help me out.

Re: Action Clutch..? (boosted_mook)
What kind of driving do you do? Will you be racing it? Dropping the clutch?
I am going with the 2MS6. It should have a stiff pedal feel, and decently smooth engagement with the sprung 6 puck. If you want a smoother, more OEM engagement type, then go for the full face 2ks.
I dont know if that helps you though, lol. Try talking to Rocket, KTeller, or the guys at Wired Speed lb, they all sell the clutches and can also help you...

I am real happy with the 2MD. Pedal feel is stiff, at least twice stock. Grabs real well and is streetable. Sure it's not a pleasure to drive in bumper to bumper traffic, but it holds the power 400+hp.

I have the 2KS and I'm very happy with it. Pedal pressure is stiff, but bearable in traffic, no chatter, and the engagement is very smooth. I would definitely recommend it for a street/strip setup. If you'd like an alternative to the "on/off" style clutches and aren't making more than 350 wtq, this is for you.

2 MS clutch here. I love it. It's probably twice the pedal pressure and hard to drive at first. Once you get used to it though, the engagement is smooth (if you want it to be) and the pedal pressure feels like stock again (until you get in someone's else car...then your like WOAH!)

So true. When I switch and drive my brother's car (stock clutch), I almost end up slamming the pedal through the floor on first disengagement.
