ac removal??
ok, got a drag third gen for my dc gsr teg, every thing was going well until i found that the intercooler piping was not going anywhere until i removed the windsheld washer fluid resivoir and also the ac compressor was in the way. my cuz had to bend the ac fan to pop out and poked a hole in the radiator by accident. (bitchass wreckless fool) i'm afraid this will leak under pressure, anyways, how can i drain the fluid out of the ac compressor and what needs to be removed. anyone with the same problem? resolution? suggestions??
A lot of question, not enough research.
1) Oil pan should be tapped in the front as close to the turbo as possible w/o interferring the downpipe. Should be tapped right where the oil pan takes a dip down. Don't have a picture...you should bolt everything on and test fit before you drill or weld.
2)Everything should bolt up...EVERYTHING! That or you got a kit that was for another car. I am not sure about the washer fluid reservior, but the a/c should not have to be removed. The downpipe should clear it fine and the charge pipe sits under the a/c compressor. As for the washer reservior thing, the charge pipe should go around it from what I remember.
3)Why would the a/c fan need to be bent? Should have tooken the fan out if it was in the way and installed it after. If there is a hole in the radiator, then it might, prolly will leak when it warms up. Patch it up...weld or whatever before you finish.
Seems like you didn't read up on installs and were not prepared to do it. Lack on knowledge can set you back.

Great thread on how to install a Drag Gen 3 Kit into an Integra.
Its an LS, but pratically the same thing.

the middle heat shield bolt was blocked by the fan with very little space so we had to remove it. we poped the bottom part out cause it was jammed. the f*ckin thing did not come with instructions or even a serial number on the turbo but the charge pipe will be a tight squeeze. i think they did give me the wrong piece because it goes too far into the fender and curves right into the resevoir and heading for the ac compressor. it doen't seem right to me either.
can u get pictures of the kit? maybe the charge pipes are on the wrong side?
1 side (driver) the diameter is 2"
Pass. side is 2.25"
since ur car is an integra, the driver side should be 1 piece U shaped...2 90 degree bends as 1 piece.

yes, correct. if this is right, the u pipe should go under the washer resivoir and under the ac compressor. i don't care about the fit right now, it's the f*ckin leak in the radiator. it's not pouring but i know it will get bigger under boost or pressured. it's a couple of mm, will jb weld do the job??

best advise is to look or a new stock rad. or go all out and get slim fans as well as a performance radiatior.
You can do that or take it to a shop and get it welded shut.

ok got the ac problem solved, gettin rid of it. i have looked over the drag 3 installation thread and the problem i see is cutting the block to make room. i've cut more than enough, pretty much all there was to cut but the turbo just doesn't seem to fit. there is a gap between the manifold and turbo because the compressor housing extends too far. i took off the housing and it fits but with the housing on, it doesn't. i even got an extra flang i put between to extend the length but same out come? could it be wrong manifold??
