because we live in a capitalist society not a communist

competition drives down prices OR gives people with limited budgets a chance to have a great manifold.

I make custom manifolds, I dont have any "set" designs/jigs. If someone wants an AC manifold, I will make them one. Id rather use something thats more "my" design, but to deny the customer his/her needs is about as smart as shooting myself in the foot.
CivicSoul had the first AC SST that I made back in May sometime. He said its still running great w/no problems, and that was just a mild steel version. EL Spool will get the 2nd one as soon as I finish it.

Are the AC SST manifolds popular? No. Do I like to make them? No. Do I want to shoot myself in the foot? No.
Will I get flooded with emails asking me to make AC SSTs? Probably. Will I make them? No, because I took on WAY too many orders and have decided that it would be in everyones best interest if I stop future orders until I can catch up. I went kinda "askew", but there you have my POV.

yep. people think at first glance that all my manifolds are copies. If you look closely, youll see that they are their own entity in their own beauty

I like Geoff, but why does he copy a Kooks design in the 30+ year old DIY schedule 40 pipe theme?

Where do you think he got the idea? From the Kooks manifold he used to own, perchance? Where do you think he got the idea to use SS schedule 40 pipe? His ex-boss, who made a small number of T304 log manifolds for a group buy on the old now defunct honda.hybrid-perf.org aka Hybrid board?

I've been through this before with Geoff himself... I had the first Kooks knock-off made from schedule 40 pipe mocked up Sept of 2000 in OverblownTeg's garage. Full-Race needs to pay me some royalties if they want to bitch and moan and set their flunkies up to do so as well.

Some of us have been kicking around Honda forums since '96. Some of us have near-eidetic memories and have been kicking around a few more years than Geoff, and remember his roots on the OG Hybrid board and can trace his course from then to now with a fair dose of highly educated perspective.

As for the rest of you worthless bitchboys and stunnas... don't you have cars to be wrenching on, or some aspect of infernal combustion engine theory to be researching, or a wife/gf/your mother you can go **** if you need to relieve some stress?

Cody, your welds are beautiful. Your passion and drive are self evident. You bend over backward to give your customers what they ask for. You deserve far better than the way you are treated around here by the unwashed masses.

Geoff, Mase, etc... You're the current rulers of the Committee for Public Safety on HT. Turn your eyes toward history when you're trying to organize, even inadvertantly, mobs fuelled by public opinion, because public opinion has a way of turning itself on you.

i find it kinda funny how geoff and mase tend to post on threads bashing away, and yet, when peopel quote them you look back and their posts are gone. soo is it a way to talk **** and then erase it when they realize people arent alwasy going to be humping their legs ?

mase, thanks for pm'ing me to remove my thread but im sorry i jut wont do it, Full-race has an excellent product, and so does lovefab, i've had my good dealings with lovefab and im sick of the other guys getting picked on cuz their competition for other people i dont mean to disrespect anyone, but im posting my opinion with what i see on these boards everyday, people whogive out great deals getting picked on by the politics of H-T such as TOM at Camp1320 etcc.

if a moderator wants to delete my post they may go ahead and do so with my permission, but i personally will not cick that little delete button myself.

to competition just realize, it can only make you better.

Yeah, I'm being asked to remove my post, and I won't do it.

Looks like the old ban for me from how the PMs are flying about... funny thing is, I only posted the goddamn truth.

*EDIT*:

Alright, I think I confused some good natured swearing at each other in PM for imminent ban. Mase and I do this occasionally... it's been the subject of debate in the past, if we ever met IRL, would it be a fistfight, all night drunken skirt chasing, or both.

Uh, at this point, probably both. lol. Mase =
