Default ? about SMC compatibilty

Ok I've decided to go the route of SMC and DSM 450's. Will the SMC work my '98 LS's ECU? I know I have to rewire the injectors with new clips and all Im just wondering if it is compatible with the ECU. Thanks. Also does anyone know the ECU code for a 98 LS? I dropped out of the scene and off of this website for about a year and I forgot some stuff.
