still undecided what i want to do with this... people have any boosted a6's ??? i took it out my 88 rex si, and now i was thinking about building the bottom, makin the head all pretty, buying a turbo kit and screwin. seems possible to me, only if someone else would shed some light maybe from their a6 build.. thanks, everything helps!!!

 

get some stronger rods, Tuner toys or something along those lines, and some pistons; vitaras or JE or weiscos.

A6 motors have solid bottom ends but consider a headswap, its considered a weakness, but if your going budget racing dont sweat it.

with H beam rods you will need to notch the block, so plan on that.

with a strong tune and researched set up 275whp is easily and reliably attainable with an A6 IMO..

stock A6 head w/ valve job, etc..
75.5 weisco pistons

OEM oil pump
ARP head studs (D series must)
edelbrock cam gear
HF mani
EVO III big 16g

EBAY 2.5" IC pipes
EBAY type RS BOV
EBAY catch can set up
walboro 195 fuel pump
DSM 450s
ACT XTR4 clutch w/ extreme pp (lil too harsh, i suggest a sprung clutch!)
OBX LSD
motorola 2.5 map
tuned with turboedit

im shooting for 275whp on the built block, but ill be happy with anything over 250.

everything should be running and turbo'd by this weekend, hopefully i dont blow it up learning how to tune (im practicing on a D15b2 bottom end then swapping the built A6 in).
