Ramhorn vs topmount for my setup
heres setup
bottom end was built by laskey racing
Benson sleeved block b18a 84mm
balanced and micropolished crank
CP pistons and rings with upgraded wrist pins (9:5:1)
Eagle H beam rods rods
ACL Bearings
OEM (TypeR) oil pump
OEM Water Pump
OEM timing belt
Lower gasket set
APR main stud kit
Blueprint and assembly
Block is O-ringed with golden eagle wire
Golden eagle Vtec Conversion Head Dowels
Golden eagle 84MM head gasket
Golden Eagle head studs
Golden Eagle MAIN GIRDLE kit
-Precision CNC machined from 6061T6 billet
aluminum.
-With OEM main bolts & washers
-Includes oil pickup and windage tray
-P72 oil panHead is a PR3 head
port matched
supertech valvetrain
springs/ti retainers
Stainless Steel, Nitride coated valves
CTR cams chaged to itr cams
BDL adjustable cam gears
6262 turbo
What would be better? Ramhorn or Top Mount?How much more laggy with top mount be?

There both going to make relatively the same power. Depending on design of the manifolds spool could be about the same. It's up to you which one you choose. Top mount is easier to work on turbo.

Nice set-up...Did you line hone the mains with the aftermarket girdle and main studs?
if it was me i would go top mount with that Turbo. As long as youre ok with no P/S

To be honest i have no idea it was my buddys motor i bought off him he used it for 1 summer (barely) he made 789whp @ 40+psi on this motor diffrent turbo setup tho. I decided top mount is the way to go with my motor and turbo setup. It seems like its easier to fit 4"dp also so thats a plus.I already did a/c and ps delete motor setup has ati race superdampner.
