Don't give me that 7mm crap either. My friend has a 92-95 hatch with a GSR block and B16head and is using the stock exhaust manifold off my car a 99 Si, while his JDM 4-1 is being cleaned up and then coated. Go figure.

I never said the 7mm "crap" was right or wrong, but at least it's a reason. So stop saying no one gave you a reason why it won't fit. There are headers out there specifically made for b16's that won't fit b18's. What fits and what won't I'm not sure. But it'll be wise to at least keep that in mind.

Oh geez.. so now 2 people think it will fit and 3 people think it won't fit. However, Ron is willing to bet money on this...

im 99.999% positive it would fit with no prob. cause my buddy has a greddy kit on his si, and theres alot of distance betweem the dp and the oil pan, so i dont think clearing the 7mm mark will be a prob. will it be closer to the oil pan, yes, will it give u any truble, no, it will be a lil closer but it will clear the oil pan no prob.

HAHa this is funny stuff.
It would be funny as ***** if you spent money to modify your downpipe and found out that you didn't have to. I'm telling you and so is Mr. Mal....(sp) you dont' need any other modifiations. Period. haha this if too funny.
good luck

OK guys. My project is now practically completed. The downpipe did NOT have to be modified!!! I can take pics and post if anyone needs verification! Fortunately, I didn't have to spend any extra dough. Thanks for all your help fellas.
