99-00 Blue Box on EG

If I were to use a 99-00 Si Greddy kit on my B16 EG hatch could I wire the kits blue box in? Sorry if this seems to be a dumb question but I didn't know if it was limited to a obd 2 ecu or ... you see what i'm saying.

? Nobody knows if a box for a obd 2 car will work on a obd 1 car???
