95 Hatch--LS/ Turbo moving to Carrollton, TX
Is anyone here close to the Carrollton,TX area. I'm looking for some people to hook up with when I get there in November to show me the ropes of Dallas/ Ft. Worth......

Be ready to sweat your *** off. Texas (at least south Texas) has the worst weather in the world imo.

there will be more GSR turbo than the LS turbo...
theres also a Drag3 delsol i see runnin around carrollton sometimes. Ive never gotten to talk to the guy though..

there are friday night time trials or sometimes its street night. thats the only 1/4 mile track, there are two 1/8 mile tracks but they are ghetto..
just your FYI, stay away from VSV performance, id reccomend syndicate, they are both in carrollton.. Theres also Jotech but i stay away from there, just cause they think they are hot ****.. Im learning to do all my own work though nowadays..

If you guys need any help...I can do almost anything ( swaps, turbos, clutches, engine work...etc)...I think I might be living at the Mansions @ Coyete ridge. They are pretty nice and they have an attached garage. Who has a dyno in town and what are their prices per hour?

oops, I forgot syndicate, yeah, he's pretty good and he charges fairly...
most dyno I think runs about 60 for 3 runs..ask arturbo, he knows more on where to go dyno and etc..
you have garage ? I want to be your best friend... J/K man...

damn u have a nice hatch.. were not in any clubs or crews or anything.. I dont really think there is a need to be in a club or crew, most of em around dallas are kinda ghetto.. heres my old group, http://www.slrs.8m.com go to rides and lost rides, we had some nice cars but there was just to much BS that went along with representing a crew.. Now we are just on our own.. Arturbo, MarkC, and B18Bturbo are some of the original turbo mafia guys if that counts as a crew..

if u wanna see what the street racing scene is like check out http://www.dallasracing.com and if u want to get picked on by supras u can always go and try to pcik some races at the suprameets.. on that SLRS page there is some pics of the supra meets, lots of nice cars go out there

me and flamenco are just trying to get all of our turbo stuff finished for the installs, we are helpin each other out.. After that probably nuthin till febuary march..
