You can't truly figure the proper intercooler size until you design your setup first. Then you have to take in account intercooler efficency. BTW bigger isn't always better. Massive pressure drops can occur with some of the "bigger" cheaper coolers.

I had the xs engineering 24x11x3 ic on my 92 integra. It filled the opening very nicely and is one of the best cores available.

I don't have any pics, but i did have to cut the hell out of the bumper support. I basically just left the top part so the bumper cover would have something to bolt to. I wish i had pics, it really looked like it was made for that car! It kinda looked like a supra bumber with a greddy intercooler, it filled the whole opening and you could see about an inch or so past the endtanks.
