No, drives fine on my friends crx (a6 block z6 head, 8.5:1 compression). 205whp on 6 psi. He does mid 13's at 103ish mph...

not 100% sure but I would say you'll lose about 10-20 whp and maybe lil more torque. You could just buy a spare block, and rebuild it completely (new sleeves) everything else.It wouldn't even have to be a z6..since everything (except for the casing) would be brand new.....
if you put those pistons in a z6 won't it be more like 8:1 compression? i was thinking of putting some of those pistons in my z6 and turning up the boost to about 15 psi and see how it runs. anyone on here know how that would be as a daily driver. the turbo would be a greddy turbo kit, 15g that i already have on the car.

Im going to run that setup. Im going to get the block decked a bit and run a y8 gasket to try and get the compression up a wee bit. The 15g's are good for 260hp apparently so id like to try and max it out.
Im just still trying to figure out how to make ls rods work.

Ya your right. I never really checked up on it till now. That's just what someone told me. I'm actually thinking about running this now.
