Hmm, it's a b18b first off, or b18a, depends what year teg. Also, yea you should be fine, it's a relatively low compression motor, so nitrous, a little ignition retard and colder plugs, and your set!

Depending on what kit you use, you won't have to retard your timing. If yo run an NX kit (wet) you'll be fine on stock timing, but if you use a dry kiy, I would retard it at least one degree.

like they said depending on the kit you will have to do some changes, but overall you'll be fine if the engine wasn't F'ed up to begin with

Sorry if im hijacking the thread but i asked this same questions somewhere else but i didn't receive help. I have a b18b and was plannin on using 100 shot dry, so i would need to bump the fuel pressure and retard the timing how many degrees, besides using colder plugs and running 93 octane. Anywhee know of a page that shows how to set timing or retard it using a timin gun. What's the base timing for a 96ls. Thank you.

I ran a 75 shot Zex dry kit for almost a year with no problems...Pulled about 2 deg of timing and used NGK ZFR7F-11's.
