75 shot does not feel quick at all...
I have a NOS single solenoid dry kit installed (along with colder plugs, B&M adj fpr, and timing pulled by 1 degree).
I'd say I'm a decent driver (15.6 @ 89 with only intake and exhaust LS) but I'm barely beating Preludes and CL-S's. Are dry kits really a waste of money? Should I convert it wet? My bottle pressure is around 800-900 psi (with a bottle heater).
Is there anything I can do to gain more power?
Thanks.

Rejet it for a 100 shot.

Re: (Soccerking3000)
1200 psi, thats where its the best at. i got a jdm r motor and i have a 70 shot single fogger wet kit on my car, and i have 12 degrees timing with 50 psi of fuel, i went from 98 mph to 110 in the 1/4 mile, so i think ur motor can do better than that, an ls with a 75 shot wet kit should be trappin at 104mph or more

Most dry kits I've seen run pig rich. (better safe than sorry) Bumping up the base pressure makes it even more rich.

he hasnt it done anything to make it rich though, his dry kit isnt like a zex with raising the fuel pressure, it would be best to upgrade to a wet kit regardless

Re: (TheCheeseWedge)
well that is exactly what i was thinking, i mean it is 75 shot, but you areonly going to be so quick, unless you have other supporting modifications, i mean if you are runing around 14.5 and you were running 15.6 that is a little over a second faster on 75 shot. not grant it, you prolly need some tweaking and tuning on your system to have it running perfectly but that will only get you so far. what kind of drivetrain mods do you have, like flywheel, clutch, tranny, ect good clutch will help you along in better 1/4 times, you know all this. supporting mods will help tho

Yeah good point guys, I'm currently on stock clutch and flywheel, and I guess I can't complain on spending $300 and gaining a second in the 1/4.
Thanks for the insight!
