i am current running a bbk intake manifold with a 70mm RPM Services throttle body with 2.5 inch charge piping. i am debating on switching to a 62mm itr throttle body and doing the maxbore thing to 64mm's. has anyone done this setup? i am hoping to get better throttle response and improve my idle

 

im debatin the maxbore 64mm myself, i have the itr throttle body, but why not just buy a 64mm tb instead?

 

I am guessing he thinks the TB is his idle problem.

 

i dont want a throttle body that sticks.... im just trying to see if anyone is running this throttle body setup

 

adjust the throttle bodys screw that controls butterfly contact
when closed then adjust your idle

 

I've got a maxbore on mine. I used the stock B16 one though. I did this years ago so I dont know the actual size. It works great, I have no complaints. Its money well spent in my opinion... I'm right around 450whp on about 25psi or so. I'm running 2" to 2.50" ducting to the intercooler and then 2.50" from the i/c o the tb. Works great :D
