6262sp ramhorn dc2 AC/PS??
I'm about to boost my dc2 and had settled on the 6262sp, but im worried about fitment, just trying to make sure I will be able to keep my AC and PS. Before you guys say it I've searched, long-time reader, first-time poster.
Also, how does the 6262sp compare in size to the t4/t67? I ask because thats what the guy I'm looking to get the ramhorn from ran with AC and PS.
Thanks in advance.

Re: 6262sp ramhorn dc2 AC/PS??
ive had a t3/t67 which is a bigger turbo 67mm vs 62mm and retained ac/ps so your fine the 6262 will spool faster and make more power then a t3/t67

Excellent, thanks.
Anyone running a similar setup have pics they can post?
Also, have read of some problems with the precision journal bearing turbos and oil pressure, you guys running any restrictors on your 6262 JB turbos on a B series?

For those who've done this, what size wastegate did you guys run with your setup? Friend of mine has a 60trim giving him boost creep problems now on a 38mm tial so I'm sure my 38mm gate with probably do same

No. not necessarily. It depends upon how the wastegate is mounted and what boost pressure you're using in relation to the wastegate. IF you're using a lot of boost, you're not bleeding so much excess boost, so it is possible that it will still work fine.

Re: 6262sp ramhorn dc2 AC/PS??
Turbo is spooled by hot expanding gases, If you retain the heat it will help to some degree BUT and a huge but it wont be noticeable difference. Turbo blanket is great for keeping underhood temps down. You can also coat the manifold and turbine housing to retain heat or wrap the manifold. and blanket the turbo.
In relation to sizes the t67 and 6262 are both in the s cover platform so dimensionally wise there the same size on the outside but the wheels are differen sizes. In a dc2 you should have no problem retaining a/s p/s with a manifold designed for such

i got probably like 100 rpm earlier spoil from it... which makes it almost exactly like a 6262 thats why I added that comment about the blanket. if you take it off and actually monitor the change you can notice a small change but not unless your looking for it to occur.
Its always a good thing to reduce radiant heat in your engine bay though too.
they are good turbos for your daily 400-500whp honda though. The ported shroud is a thing of beauty as well.

It can be done for sure. I am currently in the process of completing my install. Here are some pics. You will have to mod a few things. Speed Factory made my kit.

The answer to the initial question was answered. It can be done. The pics are just the proof. What else would you want to fit? The T1 catch can is there along with all the other factory accessories, P/S, A/C and the battery is in the original place.

Nice, make sure to post up the numbers here or start a thread when you get that thing up! What's the setup like?

I will post some details when I'm done. It has been too cold to finish for the last month. The engine bay space is tight, but everthing can fit. I have ABS still and the EBC solenoid is there and a vacuum manifold is in there. I know exactly what you wanted to see. When I started my project, no one had good pics with the clearance shown. I'll post some more pics if you need. Let me know.

...and back from the dead.
For those of you with this setup and using a half-sized radiator, do you have any overheating issues during the summer with the A/C on and/or driving uphill for prolonged periods?
