610whp/445tq, STOCK SLEEVES, 28psi, SFWD/T4 car
Car: EG Hatch
Engine: Ls/Vtec, 81.5mm, stock sleeves, 9:1 cp pistons, Manley rods, OEM bearings, GSR head, GSR cams, GSR intake manifold with butterflies removed and ported, GSR TB, ARP headstuds, OEM headgasket
Mods: Full Race Stage 3 Kit, t3/t67 with h.o. option, 1000cc injectors, Walboro 255lph hp pump, stock fuel lines, NepTune
I got the opportunity to install a Quad stage Turbo XS controller on a customer's SFWD/T4 car using NepTune to control it. Previously, the car had made 555whp with 420tq on stock sleeves at 24lbs. With the quad stage installed, you can see on the graph the progression of the power levels with each stage of the boost controller. We were able to get another 4lbs of boost out of the boost controller over his old profec b, yielding an additional 60whp. You can see his old graph (green and red dotted lines) overlayed onto the new dyno plots. This car has consistently run 10.8-10.9 (before the controller was installed) at 135-138mph. Shooting for low 10's for the upcoming event. This is the highest hp car I've ever tuned on stock sleeves. Tuning was extremely conservative, and the setup was very simple; yet, it produced such amazing results. This engine lasted all last season, and all this season with no tear downs on the same engine build. With the controller and the added power, we should see at least low 10's from this car.

Jeff that's great numbers for stock sleeves. I have to set up a apt. with you to do my intercooler piping. I hope to see some numbers like those with stock sleeves.

For the sake of competition in the class, I can't give out the name of the owner or pics of the car. If you'd like to see the car run, go to the Summer Slam event at Englishtown. It will be competing.

would you say there is more power to be had with a different IM? or is the stock GSR with the porting and butterflies removed equally comparable to an aftermarket IM?
sick numbers, especially on stock sleeves
