600whp stock block b16 build.
Hi, wanted to share some pic and info of my new DD,
The setup is following
100% stock block b16a2, stock pistons, rods crank everything.
head: SS valves, dual valvesprings and titanium retainers
camshafts: custom grind from our shop
intake S2 pro2
1200cc rc injectors
EMS Hondata
Fuel E85
custom 3" exhaust
fullrace turbokit.
modified crankase ventilation.
s80 transmission with stock LSD
Dyno result maxpower 600whp at 24-25psi 9030rpm (will post graph later)
Runs around 490whp at the street
Tried to be creative with the UGLY ef resistor box (P&H injectors) although I had 5 days from start to tuned. but some details have to be done.

nice! those b16's do well on stock blocks. I think it because on the shorter stroke. Post a dyno graph please. I want to see the tq curve

600whp through a stock fuel feed line? those banjo bolts are pretty restrictive with fuel flow
i had a b16 that made 430hp, ran 10s so it was good enough for me!

I like the hate mail in this thread. Give props where it should be given! 600hp on a stock block, must be a good tune. I guess R/S ratio doesn't mean much to you guys, but 1.74 is damn near perfect. I want to see the graph....

Boostedls92, you are too funny:p hehe, And really on the 8x 600hp runs at the dyno a thought crossed my mind that I had stepped way over the "line"
The plugs were fine and the graph were smooth, after changing spark wires, coil and cap.
I will post up dynograph this week when I get back to work.

Re: 600whp stock block b16 build.
I think the good feeling to know everything are done correct, sleeves, pistons, rods etc is worth the $2500 you have spent
but in the same time its nice to go for the K.I.S.S sometimes also.
It definately works and the car is much more relaxing to drive around when I have all the TQ to play with. the 2400lbs+ car was annoying to drive with the low TQ N/a
