Its all really simple...the problem is that everyone makes it more complicated than it really is...my set-up has nothing crazy about it, all off the self parts.
It just takes time, patience, money & some driving skill...anyone can do it

that 10.4 pass was a shity pas (at least it felt that way) I know for a fact I can go faster its just that I am straped for cash & have other priorities to attend to before I can continue racing.

i do low boost...... then the greddy button into high boost........

i wanna change and do an all high boost pass cause my 1st gear is soo short it wont have time to build 26 psi anyways.................... and takes my mind off of the button so i can concentrate on shifting.....

what size slick did u run....and what did it weigh with you in it>

Hmmmmm...26x10 in a Heavy car is going to be some trouble.

I hope you have a nice Ring\Pinion and clutch...and Axles...and some Spares.

I'd try the 26x9 if you can find one...

i went 10.7 with 430whp

my car has made over 600 horsepower on the dyno, but i havnt turned the boost up all the way at the track yet. on my 10.05 pass i hit high boost in the very very top of 4th gear.

if there is one thing ive learned this year its not to get caught up in peak numbers. my car has very very little dyno time into it..... find peak torque to adjust your timing and do the rest at the track

if you have a hondata, aem, motec, or neptune you can rig up something to trigger your 2nd stage of boost via the speed sensor.

only problem with that is different track conditions.......sometimes you dont have such a good 60 foot and would need to keep the boost lower to have the car "catch up" and if its electronically turning the boost up for you....your screwed.

i prefer a button

If you are on 2 stages of boost...That might be a problem. If you are on 4 stages...you start low and slowly add alittle boost after datalogging. Experience has alot to do with it...Anyone ever notice that Jason and Brian start slower and get fastest almost every pass at an event until they are running around their bests.

Screw the Greddy Button, it's too expensive, put a button on your shifter. Mine cost about 6 bucks to fabricate and it's right at my thumb the entire time, my hand never leaves the shifter (not launching on slicks yet only street tires)...

I redynoed my car last week and on 26 lbs made 604 hp and 409 tq. This is same motor ive been using for the last 3 + years ( its a little tired 2 cylinders have 12-17 leakdown). Im in the process in rebuilding another for later this season. Couple of weeks of go i ran my best time at woodburn 10.71 at 133 on 18 lbs of boost. The car weigh in at 2560 with me in it last year at vegas.

ok so all you guys who drive your 600whp+ cars daily or more than often...how much are you spending on race gas? im sure that adds up...get annoying?

or do you guys just run on low boost/pump gas when you're daily driving?

They don't use that 1 button for every stage...probably 1-2 shift.

dont be. I was less than that when I ran a 10.82. Me and Joe weigh about the same and looks like we are making close to the same hp.
