IMO the 60-1 is a really good turbo. its older technlogy as many people cry about but of its time it kicked everythigns ***. including the newer t3t4 turbos ( the SC61 only performs slightly better )

flows very well midrange and makes great power up top. for the price its hard to beat considering itll outdo most t3t4's liek 50-57-60trims

agree with this completely... my thoughts are the same.

I have a garrett 60-1 on my f22b1 now and absolutely love it. Spools pretty quickly for its size (and my compression) and is an animal on the topend.

I made 335whp/ 279 ft. lbs on my stock motor with this turbo.

I run a t3 60-1 .70 intake .82 stage five exaust. Its in a 92 gutted hatch stock compression.great turbo but........I needed to work the head, full valve train ect.The turbo needs some rpm thats where the power is.And the lower comp did give me more lag.So back to stock much better.Full boost around 4300,I rev to 8600.anyway theres my two cents

the GT30R isnt that great of a turbo to begin with. the 60-1 will make at least 100+ WHP mpre. however slower with spool

has anyone had creep issues with this turbo on low boost and a 44mm wastegate? I only plan to do 11 psi and below on stock map.

similar results from me i paid $440 for mine w/ 1k on it and prolly has about 5k on it now w/o any problems... good cheap turbo with an even spool/power compromise. Soon I will be retuning my car with race fuel with this turbo and looking to make 550whp.

Cheap turbo.com offered a stage five upgrade. It was a stage 5 82 ar. wheel with a five bolt tubonetics housing. It ended up costing me 900 bucks or so when it was all said and done.I dont know if they still do it.The compressor also has a 4 inch inlet.Turbonetics sells a nice 4 inch horn for it.But that was two years ago.Im not sure if I would buy the same thing taking the upgrades in consideration.

i was actually thinking 62-1...but i'm only going ot be doing 450whp MAX since it's a pump gas only car, and daily driven....

what's the spool like compared to the 60-1 wiht the S cover?
