5 Lug's 1998 Turbo ITR - The summary for a great build
Been a member for a while but never posted this. Purchased this car in 2003 as the 2nd owner and I've had it ever since. Starting to think keeping it stock was the way to go for resale but all this was done back in 2005 and I don't plan on selling it.
All work was done and tuned by LHT Performance. https://www.youtube.com/user/LHTPerformance Ran a conservative 7psi stock motor setup and it put down 289hp/187tq. Built motor and upped boost to 10psi with just a street tune, never brought it back to the dyno. Best 1/4 was 12.8@112 with a 2.2 60ft. Highest trap was 13.1@116. Car is still running strong to this day with zero problems.

Very nice and clean. And yes you shouldnt sell it .
You never really liked too much hp eh ? The engine can do much much more. But probably this way lasts like for ever

Nicely assembled ITR, and looks great. Car would still fetch a very nice price, especially with it's history (long time owner, lots of time spent on the turbo kit).
How many miles total on the built engine and turbo?

Thanks guys. I kept it with the dyno tuned 7psi on the stock motor for reliability. Built the motor and planned on doing a 10psi low boost/18-ish psi high boost but never ended up going past the 10psi street tune. Which back in 2005, was decent enough to hold it's own against typical SRT-4's and such. The car was a daily driver until 2010 when the commute to work turned into a 60 mile round trip five days a week. That's when I bought another daily to keep the wear and tear off the Type R.
Total car has 131,000 miles. I'd say the built motor and turbo have around 60-70k.
