Default 5 BOLT DOWNPIPE 3"?

Whats up guys, Finally getting going on my LST project. Was wanting to go with a 3" downpipe. I plan on fabricating my self. I did some measuring today, It looks like the the outlet on the turbo is 2 5/16". I looks like 3" would be slightly too big for the flange. I did some searching, it looks like there is a adapter flange from a 5 bolt to a 3" vband, but its a little pricey. I have seen the option of the vibrant adapter from 2.5" to 3". It looks like if I tried to go with 3" off the flange it wouldn't be ideal.

I'm wondering which would be the best route to take.

1. 5bolt to vband adapter
2. 2.5" off the flange to a vibrant adapter then 3"

or if there is a better route to go?

best route is a v band hotside and v band downpipe. the 5 bolt is a tight fit with a mandrel 2.5" pipe. see how it necks down in the pic? what are you really gaining?

That image being shown is also a mercedes 5 bolt flange configuration, not the FORD style that everyone is used to seeing.

yeah, I was getting ready to say. I don't think anyone makes a 5-bolt ford to v-band configuration.
