4g63 are far from torque monsters they arent at all.
I dont know where that Bs came from dsm motors dear god mines spontaneons jumped timing and broke 6 valves clean off there stems...
That car is useless its still fwd.

actually...that guy needs to learn how to drive...a guy around here who had minor mods done to his EVO VIII and runs the almost the same times in the 1/4 complete interior (11.6's)...and it has extra weight because it has the "sun, sound, and leather" package...
mods done to it: changed intercooler, intercooler piping, 1g bov, ACT Clutch, hks 272 cams, 3 inch exhaust, and a reflash...

we just bought a rebuilt 4g63 for our DSM for $700, complete with 0 miles on it. Parts arent anymore expensive than any other motor so I'm not sure where you are getting overpriced from.

Rebuilt with stock parts doesnt count .
Evo 8 motor is different its reversed cam cover is on a different side and uses different parts...
