What is your base fuel pressure? What was your duty cycle?

Bump for Jeff and his high hp smallblock. I got a text from Pingo the other day saying "170mph is really fast." You gotta slow the f**k down, it's a civic, not a ferrari (even though you could probably beat one) lol. You ever solve that axle issue? Otherwise how things back home?

Anyone want to explain to me how you can break prototype race axles rated for well over 500whp while still on the dyno then replace them with stockers and beat around on the streets all day without issues? OEM Honda FTMFW, I told you to get a traction bar before axles hahaha

So, what does this amount to in whp?? If you factor a 15% drivetrain loss, you're looking at about ~404whp which to me seems a lot more likely for the turbo and boost pressure. Not trying to rain on your parade, but i'm not a fan of bragging up Brake Horsepower.

It is a rolling dyno. Dyno Dynamics just displays 'flywheel' on the screen.

Nice numbers man. If I do recall, Dynamics reads about 13% lower than your dynojet numbers...so...thumbs up.

hmm 16psi with a t3/t4 60 trim, so is this crank hp or to the actual wheels, i didnt think you would make so much hp with that turbo at 16psi. i guess i shouldnt underestimate a 60 trim lol.

That spool is SUPER lazy for that turbo/setup.

I thought so to that it should have spooled up alittle faster i don't know if it has to do with my adapter plate because its a t4 manifold and t3 turbo but Its a whole lot of fun, kind of hard to keep her on the road.

The reason for the slow spool and the higher-than-average power output IS because the car was probably run on something loadless that measures engine power output rather than loaded whp. Without something like nitrous, those power numbers aren't even possible on the 60trim at 16psi...read the compressor map once. The turbo is barely a 50lb/min turbo (based on this graph) and wouldn't be able to make 475whp without higher boost unless this setup is some kind of anomoly.

At 2.1 PR (roughly 16psi) the turbo can make somewhere produce 45-50lb/min. That is plenty of air.

I'm basing a lot of my argument on a local car built by SLS. He's running a similar setup, but with a 57trim and no meth injection. They had to run it up to 21psi in order to hit 451.9whp with their B16.

I guess it is possible, especially considering this engine is an 85mm....i'm not "doubting" necessarily, but there are a few factors that make me think this is all a dyno trick. I still dont see why it spools so late with such a big engine...

57 trim wheels suck in comparison to 50 and 60 trim wheels. As for the spool, could be a million reasons. That's up to them to figure out.

That does seem high but I made 416 on 15psi with 91oct and full exhaust. He is running open downpipe and methanol injection so it could be possible. The very late spool is what is throwing me off. I had full boost around 5500 so i dont know whats up there. If these numbers are infact whp on a 60trim then

I'm using the 450-500 hp nozzle that what it said the Boost cooler manual and i'm using the boost Juice and these numbers are very possible considering the meth and open down pipe before i turned the meth on the car was only making low 400's

Do you have a graph without the meth on 16 psi? Maybe that would ease some of the questions.
