Is this Sherbazs' car?? It looks like it and only one I know of in FL in yellow pushing that power. But it really doesn't look like it..could be wrong.

Nick

no its not his car. Sherbaz's racegate is turned horizontal, with a cut in the power steering pump bracket. see pic.

However your reasoning on the pressure levels doesn't make sense.
the pressure should be the same at all points in the oil supply system.
The pressure would be highest at the outlet of the oil pump, and then drop as it goes through tubes (even a straight tube), restrictions, etc....until it flows around to the intake of the pump, when it should be the lowest. It is by no means the same throughout any part of the system.

Sherbaz's car is actually a Type-r , this car isn't.

Also looks like a B16A, and judging by the torque, it is.

yeah the torque does look somewhat low considering the power output it is making, but maybe it could be due to limitations of tuning on a stock ecu (at least that what it says on the site that it is using). personally, my eyesight isn't acute enough to see a 7mm difference in deck height, especially in pictures.

here's the guy's dyno chart for those who are interested but too lazy to click the link & read the website:

From what i've seen non-vtec heads dont have anywhere to tap in for oil. Thats why on LS-VTECs you need to run a line from the back of the block for the VTEC solenoid.

I already laid the smackdown on him bout 6-7 times. He is my competitor down here in South Florida. Car is definitely fast and runs mid 11's . I am suppose to run his car again since he is sponsored by a big shop in Florida.

453hp? BEH! My friend has a 517whp Integra GSR with a drag kit. I'll have to get some more info like pics after he gets it back from dallas this weekend. I think its at a shop called norwood or something? Home of the 4,000hp integra.

So are you guys saying put the oil feeder on the sensor on the back, or like the pic and put it on the VTEC. I'm hearing both still.I'm gonna be doing this on a 94 GS-R with custom setup.

the torque is low because it is so rich on the bottom.i had a simular set-up and made simular power(434whp and 287 ft lbs).it was so rich from the fuel pressure being so high(fmu)under spool up that it could not be leaned out.if it could be leaned out on the bottom, the torque would be much higher.that is why i now have a power fc and no fmu.

But, does your friend work on his own car? The driver of this car does work on it.

Everything. Who cares if you can buy a fast car? Building a fast car is what respectable enthusiasts do, buying a fast car is what old rich guys do once their wives are too ugly to have sex with.

I have zero respect for people who don't build but still brag about their cars.

You definately have to give more respect to the guy who built his car than the guy who bought his car from the guy who built it.
Makes sense, right?
