Default 4" V-band Downpipe discussion

EDIT: Updates and Pics on Page 2

My To4E has a 4" V-band on it. I know that some of you are also running the 4" setups. Who made your DP's for you? I can't seem to find any 4" flanges/Piping anywhere. I e-mailed Geoff @ full-race casue' the site doesn't have any good pics/info. BTW, I'm not a 4" DP bandwagoneer so, please don't turn this into a 4" vs. 3" thread cause' it is NOT!

All pics and info appreciated. Thanks

Phil

I will contact him. I guess I overlooked the 4" stuff on ATP but, Damn......$85 just for the 4" flange and a 4" 90 degree SS bend w/ 6" legs .

Liam,

Is that a 3" flaring to a 4" or 4" to 5"?

Are you sure that is 3 inch to 4 inch and do you know if there is such thing as a 4-bolt to Vband adapter?

I can get the stainless 4" mandrel bends, hell even 5" if you want. Can have them to you in one day.
We use ATP for a lot of flanges and fab materials at times. I dont believe they have a 4 bolt to 4" Vband......but they told us that they could make anything we wanted. Or I can get the 3"-4" transitions too.
Im kicking around the idea of doing a 4" turbo back myself too

Most diesel truck places have 4 inch piping and v band flanges. As for the bends go here: http://www.covell.biz/donuts.htm and it comes out to $13.25 per 90.

You gotta be smoking crack to pay $600 for a downpipe.
