Default 3bar map sensor install pics ?

Anyone have any pictures of there 3bar map sensor installed? I got all the part numbers and everything i need, i just would like to know how to mount it.

mount it however you want. Pressure to the port, wires to the wires. Then put it somewhere.

So do i just pound in a plastic tee into the throttle body then. Or is there a better way?

yeah i've read over that site already. It didn't help with the mounting question.

no one has pictures? I searched but only found questions relating to the part numbers and people selling their map sensors

dude, you just mount it. i dont know how else to say it, some people zip tie it to a line or firewall somehow.

....i am going to mount it to the firewall...why would i be asking about that.....
I just want to see pictures of how to run the vacuum line. How do i run the line? Do i need to block off the vacuum port on the throttle body where the stock map sensor is and then run the 3 bar off a different source or can i use the port where the stock one is mounted (ie pound a plastic tee into the throttle body port and run it from there). There has got to be a simple way.

Look on the firewall. black thing with a white label.


You are making this harder than it is. Leave the stock sensor where it is but unplug it. Splice the wires from the stock sensor and wire the pigtail to it using the link above.
Hook a vacuum line and increase boost. If you were tuned with the stock sensor you will need to retune with the 3 bar because of the different resolution.

Help?

i dont know maybee its just me but POUNDING a plastic tee in your throttle body, sounds kinda ghetto.

no ****, that why i was asking a question on what to do

ladysman...thanks for the actually help. I guess i over thought it. boosted hybrid is going to tune it for me in 2 weeks.
