Default 3 bar map sensor

if i run the 3 bar map sensor how can i make my car idle without a standalone???, i have an safc and 450's now

doesnt the safc have a map sensor table in there anywhere? if so, you should be able to compensate that way....i think

I guess the 3 bar MAP tops out at 5v @ around 30psi? You'd have to trim out more voltage than the AFC can, if that's the case. You'll need to add an additional voltage splitter or something inline before the AFC...

honda ecu wants a 2bar map sensor. Unless you get a hondata or aem ems (or some other standalone) you will have a hell of a hard time making your car run right.

If you really need more boost then 12psi...stop messing with the afc hack and step up to the hondata or aem ems.

2bar MAP is ~15psi at 5 volts while the 3bar is ~32psi at 5 volts. The voltage isnt the problem. Its the stepping. The voltage rises at different rates. The honda ecu is going to be thinking one thing...while the map is saying something else. It just doesnt work right.
