you cant just slap on the map sensor and hope it works... you have to rescale the fuel/ign maps to take advantage of the increased rang of the map sensor

You can get the 3 bar map from a camaro the last edition. And you need the pigtail with it.

You cant simply hook the 3 bar up to a stock ecu... EVEN if you have the vafc hack it still runs like ****. Are you running Hondata, AEM EMS, Uberdata... any sort of engine mgmt?

Buy your 3 bar from either Motec or Hondata [who sources them from Motec]. There were 3 different 3 bar map sensors made [i think] and only one of them will work properly.

Well my car runs fine with stock map sensor, but im planning on running alot more boost pretty soon, and i know of people who use it. I talked to norris from nu image at MIR awhile ago and he showed me that he was using one. My fuel and everything is good until i put the GM sensor on and it bugged out so i changed that ****.

yea and like everyone keeps saying, if your using hondata or AEM EMS or even vtec hack you need to re-calibrate them to work with the 3 bar sensor.

i was thinking that too, i got the "pigtail" and i spliced it into my harness and plugged it up, it started fine idled fine with the 90's truck sensor the caviler would start and cut right off when i used it, as far as driving goes the beast goes to about 3 grand then the breaking up starts, so i was like forget it plugged my old one back up.

Mighty big words for a mighty small post count. It appeared that you either:

a) were ignoring his comment
b) are too dense to understand
c) just skimmed over the post and didn't read his comment

You haven't told us at all what kind of EMS you're running, if any. We can't help you unless we know what you're working with.

Did you have a valid question, or did you want to start posting on an actual gay forum known as Clubsi.com ?

I bet most suffer from reason number two. It's pathetic but what are you going to do. Unless you're using a quality ems then there should be no need for more than 11psi.
