Default 3.5 turbo

I know I’m out of my kind of forum but I need some tuners help. I have a 2002 3.5 Honda out of an odyssey in a sand rail. The motor has a header, K&N and I run a 3.2 Acura ECM. This combo runs great but it’s time for some more power. Most people in sand rail run a turbo on them with 50/50 race gas. Do most of the street guys run race or is there a way to run a turbo without race? I’m looking for around 4 to 6 psi of boost. What other mods work with this motor to get more power out it. Thanks

It is not necessary to run any race gas in there, but it will help with detonation. At 6 lbs you should not need to run any race gas, just be sure to have a intercooler the is adequate size, especially if you are going to be running wide open, as you do in the dunes. I have a D16 with turbo in my rail and run it flat out at 7 lbs, no intercooler, but I do put one bottle of Octane booster in or Toluene

Where are you located? How long do you run the car at a time? What size tank you have? E85 would be a great option for you as well if you have it readily available where you're located.

E85 is a great option, but you will have to go to a bigger injector and possibly a bigger pump, depending on a number of things.
