John @ HyTech might be able to make you one, or has one.

I know SNL makes 2.5" one(I'm thinking about using it on my fairly low output turbo D, no more than 250whp after I add bigger rods and the zex cam, only 180whp till then)...never heard of any 3" TLs, but with the right knoweledge & money it's definately possible(as is anything else)

well hytech says no go. "It can't be made". Well that's not promising.

and why couldnt that be made?

I really dont see the advantage to it, but thats no reason for saying "it cant be made".

You could use a HyTech 2.5" rear section and have a stepped Bpipe, 3" - 2.5".

that would be pointless, since the 2.5 would bottleneck the gases.

I am interested in seeing a 3 inch twin loop as well!

i think i read somewhere that it cant be made because the internal loops would make it so the external casing would be too big to fit under the car..or something to that effect.

Actually, that wont be as big of a bottleneck as you may think.

do u have dynos to prove that?
i've already seen the gains had from a 2.5 to 3 inch exhaust setup..

The muffler is the bottleneck, not the stepped down pipe, don't confuse a physical bottleneck like the ones found on the flanges of some systems, to a 6" section of decreased radius piping.

Regardless, the reason behind running a twin loop design is for the reduction in noise and better tone is it not? Can you really feel the difference between 350whp and 355whp? If ultimate power is your primary concern, the twin loop design shouldn't be an option right? I figure, if you're considering a twin loop muffler, you've already decided that you're okay with sacraficing 1/2 % of peak hp.

LOL @ your avatar, haha.

I'd be very interested in a full 3" twin loop!

Exactly, a honda can make way more power than it can put it to the ground, so i don't care about the losses, it's all about keeping it low profile for me.

I saw that OBX has an add on e-gay that you can get a twinloop with a 3" in pipe. Wrote them an e-mail but no response, so i'm not sure what's with that.

before you just post random numbers you pulled out of your ***, you can't claim anything unless you urself have proof that a 3 inch twin loop muffler will lose 1/2% of peak hp lol

That number wasn't meant to be taking literally, more of a juxtaposition.

You can't claim how much power it looses either without showing proof. So don't assume anything yourself.

The purpose of my comment was to show that making maximum power out of your setup isn't priority if you are considering a twin-loop muffler, regardless of piping diameter. We've run 4" piping on our big HP turbo cars, so don't think that I'm saying 2.5" is just as good as 3" (or bigger), I'm simply saying that you've already decided that creating as much power as you can out of your setup isn't a priority when quality of exhaust tone/loudness is of concern.

My point exactly
