I need to find a 3" diameter version of this hose. The hose pictured is from the JRSC kit but is only 2.5". Jackson Racing does not have a 3" version nor can they tell me who makes it for them or where they buy it.

Ive gone to Pepboys and Autozone and they have nothing similar. Ive gone to Home Depot but they have nothing either and all their employees are ******* morons. They're like "uh you can use hose from here on a car".

The hose pictured is a high temp hose that is flexible yet inside is smooth. It is NOT like a drier vent hose so its perfect for air flow. Mcmaster car has an exact style hose but biggest is 2". Oh and I plan on using this for my turbo intake.

i was going to do this awhile back but never got around to it.

rs akimoto sells it. and if u use it as an intake it wont crush down and collapse.

Re: 3" Intake Flex Hose (psileepR)
I bought some 3" hose at home depot and it didnt fit. I realize that it was because the hose was 3" OD, not ID. Its enough difference to make it not fit, at least not w/o tearing the hose.

http://www.racingsportsakimoto...x.php These hoses are also 3" OD and therefor would have the same problems. WTF.

just get 4" and cut a piece of rubber coupling off and put if over whatever you are clamping the pipe down to first..that will compensate for the larger diameter pipe

couldn't you just stick it inside a 3" ID coupler? I actually have one of those spiral flex tubes, although I haven't used it or plan it use it anymore. The tubing felt stiff enough to put inside a coupler and put a clamp on...

Re: 3" Intake Flex Hose (Pat)
The coupler idea would work good. Thanks

Do you guys have any pics of your turbo intakes?

Re: 3" Intake Flex Hose (Muckman)
This might work

I use the RS akimoto pipes for the intake, and had enough left over to make a pipe coming from the opening in the bumper up to the filter. One word of advice if you buy the RS akimoto stuff, dont buy the insulation. Mine was wrapped so loose it made my 3" pipe into a 5" OD pipe so I ripped it off

You sure do. I was going to get aluminum tape and use that instead, ontop of that spray the intake duplicolor ground coat to match the chargepipes. But im undecided if i want to spray the chargepipes gunmetal/black or not
