I've had ONE offer from someone wanting me to split it and just sell him the disc. Told him I'd sell him the disc for $300, and he'd get a free pressure plate, flywheel, and shipping with it.

My build thread is a lot more in depth than that, though. Nearly everything I've done has been done in a DIY/how-to format, so future members can use it as a how-to for a complete engine rebuild. I even have proper torque specs and all sorts of other fun **** in there, too. When I get all of my boost parts, I'll be doing a step by step how-to for that, as well. Problems that I've run into, I've posted DIY diagnostic steps for people who might search for similar problems in the future. I even have a write-up for converting manual to power windows in the rafters as well, I just haven't posted it yet. Basically, the whole thread is "How to make your car suck a little less."

The new style of carbon synchros, I see no reason not to us them.
****, you trying to take wantboost's position around here. Yeah I've barely looked at your thread lol.

Compound charging sounds like over complicating things to me, not mention the low end torque won't help in fwd
Frank prefers his turbo over the compound charged setup
Picked up like 40ft lbs from the switch without much low end loss

So funny story about taking wantboost's position...

I keed, I keed. wantboost is irreplaceable around here. I mean, he's the only "full time" mod I see in FI at least. Granted, FI generally has more mature personalities as regulars and doesn't need a shitload of moderation, which I'm sure he appreciates.

If I do end up buying this JRSC, one of two things will happen. Either I'll install it, run it until I can afford the rest of my turbo bits, and then twincharge, or I'll install it, run it until I can afford the rest of my turbo bits, and then flip it and just go turbo. Either way, I think it'll definitely liven up the car and make it more fun to daily. I'm just not a fan of having to swap pulleys to increase boost.

Spend as little money as possible because the wife wants a kid and I want a house lol.

Any money towards car will be extra overtime I work or parts I sell:

I'm going back to a 225/45/16 (currently 235/50/15). Just felt like a better tire size, never rubbed, much less torque steer, and looked better. And I should be able to hook just as well.

I have this external ignition Im going to hookup again and move the ignition box to the cabin. I want to build a plate to mount it in the glove box and put a distribution block for all my inputs and outputs to the ECU to clean up the wiring at the ECU (think EBC, wideband input, ignition, switches etc). Right now its a bunch of wires coming from all different parts of the cabin kind of tucked out of the way, unorganized. It works, but im grown up now and I want to make it clean lol.

Sell off my Tial 38mm and goautoworks ramhorn, downpipe, and dump. Get a new mini ram installed with a 44mm gate and 10lb spring. Will be welding a new bung on the oil pan to allow a straight shot for the return.

Id like to all new charge piping with aluminum and TIG it all myself at work now that I have gotten some "Seat" time with it doing mild steel. I will move my IAT sensor to the charge pipe during this time.

Hard race Front upper control arms with adjustable camber so I can really dial in the front of the car. Id like to do rear control arm bushings ad trailing arm bushings as well

Opposite of my situation, I wanted a kid and wife wanted a house. The kid will be the most rewarding and satisfying thing you ever do, the house will be a pain in the @ss.

The house for me started as a PITA, but that's also because I didn't know what I was doing when it came to repairs and upgrades.

Now I'm looking to get another one because I'd rather have a PITA with more square footage for the family to be in. That's why I'm in no hurry to get my project completion all done by 2016.

We are both hardcore DIY'ers. She can find anything at the thrift store and is happy not having brand new stuff. So I look forward to a fixer upper of sorts if it gets me a decent chunk of land to build the man cave on. Just wanna get out of the city more then anything at this point. Any my commute is currently 50 miles each way =/

My boosted B18CR came to a quick demise on 91 octane and 300whp. I hope you have access to E85

So glad I live in a state that can get real gasoline.

So glad there's a Sunoco across the street where I can pick up cans of actual race fuel if I want to.

So glad there's an Exxon up the road where I can fill up with pure, 0% ethanol gas if I want to.

So glad I drive past two gas stations that both serve E85, if I ever wanted it.

So glad I live in a state that lets me do whatever I want to my car.

With my mother on crutches after breaking her ankle, and my step father still recovering after triple bypass surgery, I have the benefit of a "project house" minus the cost. I tell them something that I want to do, they agree, I do it, I give them receipts, they give me cash. Or, more often, they tell me something that needs to be done, I agree, they give me cash, and I go do it. Or I get tired about them bitching about it not working right, so I go do it so they shut up about it (like the kitchen sink drain that kept leaking until I fixed it).

It's nice having something to keep the hands busy, but it would also be nice to actually get a proper day off, where I can sit around in my pajamas and do **** all.

Lol

At this point I just want to get something running. SVT Focus is the easiest, I just need to get it to the dealer and give them lots of dead white people.

Next would be the accord but I'm flip flopping on turbo choice.

The civic and the S13 are kind of a toss up for who's next. Both need thousands of dollars in parts and fabrication work. Le sigh.
