well, lemme rephrase that..
the si was honda's performance platform... during its years it was the most performance oriented model.. Honda dropped the ball with the new si and they know it, from what ive heard they are supposed to be introducing a type-r variant in the near future..
now for the helpful advice
If you are planing on turbo'ing your car... im assuming youll be running stock internals and head... in which case anything near the size of something with a 67mm compressor wheel would be wasted/ you are better off going with one of the more common t3/t04e hybrids, it is much more sutied to anything youd be looking to acheive with a stock motor
as far as parts and availability... the car is fairly new along with the motor, so the availability of aftermarket parts is scare and if they are in fact available, the likelyhood of them being cheap/affordable is slim. so youd be better off getting some flanges cut for you, as well as some bends and goto town with the diy fabwork

10x better i agree about that huge turbo is way to much i will run a tiny t25 turbo with eclipse intercooler, bov, etc. I don't plan on spending more than $600 on my turbo kit. shooting for 140 whp. better than 5000 on a k series swap

yea. im doing a mini/me hmt'd swap into my go kart (yes i said go-kart) shooting for 150whp
and then im building up my b20/vtec for my si. looking to make around 500whp daily on pump with a t4 of some sort

just stick with either custom or dezod motorsports kit. http://www.dezod.com
D17's put out equal if not better numbers than D16s with the same psi/turbo. THey just have a returnless fuel system which sucks but upgrade the system to run more boost and your fine. RSX suspension bolts on as well. The ONLY real problem with those cars is the tiny engine bay, much harder to put a turbo in than an EG. And a DX coupe weighs less than 2400lbs. They have plenty of potential but nobody makes parts for the D17.
Im building a kit for my 04 DX since someone hit my integra and left so i was out of a car and they gave me 3% intrest as a 1st time buyer. Now I gotta make best with what I have.

it wont be hard at all.... all it takes is the proper equipment and good tuning...

the only difference is the returnless fuel system which you will upgrade anyways with alot of boost. euqal mods/turbo on a D17 and a D16 and a D17 will produce better numbers and more torque.

im currently working on a GT28R kit on my 2001 civic starting with an HKS manifold. But from what ive seen dezod's kits is a good way to go if you want to make a one stop shopping for a kit!

I can e-mail you dyno sheet if you would like. Its not that hard. Granted after 4K rpm, I have absolutely no traction if I have it on high boost setting. And with a sleeved, fully built, and tuned B18 in a 93 hatch, I don't see what is so hard about believing this. But if you want to doubt, go ahead, I really don't have anything to prove to you.
