Default 2001 Civic Turbo, Finally Completed

After a lot of work, the project is finally completed, and I am finally boosting. There are as of now no kits for this car, HKS keeps trying, and RevHard is working on a kit as well. So, this kit is a complete custom, manifold custom built by RevHard, and the kit built at Jotech Motorsports in Garland, TX. Stock horsepower was 101.2 to the wheels with 95 torque, it now makes 154hp and 148 torque at 4psi, and 197hp and 166 torque at 8psi. Turbo is a T03/04B, Spearco Intercooler, HKS SS BOV, Tial Wastegate, Profec A boost controller, and a Haltech for the fuel requirements. Right now there is no air filter, only mesh to protect the turbo, getting a pipe on there is complicated due to the location of one bloody fitting, but the fitting will be moved and the air filter on next week.

On to the questions I have: Oil cooler, do they really help, and which one would you recommend? Oil catch can, good idea or waste of space? That's all for now, until my bank account recovers enough to start rebuilding the block.

Thanks to the members on here who offered advice on the project (especially those of you who said "Tony at Jotech will turbo anything, just go talk to him"), and watch for me to be posting a lot more on here, now that I finally have the turbo on.

Looks nice! What fuel mods did you have to do to get it working right?

Nice setup man!! Great power for that motor at 8psi.

One question. What did you do about the fuel managment. Dont the new civics have a returnless fuel setup?

Haltech F5 computer running an additional injector welded into the intake piping just before the throttle body, rest of the fuel system is completely stock. The pump hits its flow limit just after 8psi, but up to that, we have an almost perfect air fuel ratio from the dyno. The system is still returnless, the fuel line was tapped for the additional injector.

so you have a map limiter (either mechanical or electrical) and a haltech controlling the 5th injector?

interesting approach. i bet it works well.

So there's hope
It just takes time. I want to get a 7th gen in like 5 years or so, there should be plenty of options (and RSX motors) by then.

A/C is still there. The new Civic use two full length cores for the radiator and a/c instead of the two half length coes the previous generation used, and they're both still there in front of the frame and behind the bumper support. A/C compressor is just to the right of the turbo, still there too.

The Profec A is the upper level Profec controller. It's more exact on boost levels, has a digital boost readout in bar, and offers quicker spool-up than the profec B. Still has the double programmed boost levels, adjustable by the remote switching system or a button on the profec itself.

All 4 stock injectors remain, the additional is a 460.
