Default 2000 Accord turbo question

I've been looking at many turbos. I've come across the SC61 and things like that. I've heard great things about ITS (Innovative Turbo Systems) and also the GT3255E. Now, I have a 2000 Accord 2.3L 5spd. It makes impressive torque for a Honda. I dynoed 156.9whp and 146wtq. Torque band is pretty flat from 2200rpm up. My question is, do you have any recommendations for turbos? I will be boosting the stock block until I am able to build it. I am aiming for around 250 to the wheels on the stock block, but when I am built, I'd love to be in the area of 350-450, maybe even more. This is my daily driver so I'm trying to do it right. I will take it to the track on occasion, but it is a street car, so I'd like fast spool, so I was thinking .63 a/r, since my redline is at 6500. I've also been told by a coupe of turboed Honda drivers that they went from ball bearing to journal and didn't notice much of a spool difference at all. Maybe someone could shed some light on that. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot

The SC61 is a big turbo for your goal. I have a variation of the GT3255e, i have the B housing instead. I really like it...it spools fast on a 1.8L B series, it would rip on your 2.3L. Its not going to make more than about 420whp maxxed out, but it would have one hell of a powerband. If you're looking to spend a little more money, there are other great options out there too....the STC Silver Surfter, Borg Warner S256, GT30r Series, etc....

Just make sure you're using a turbo that isnt hugely oversized for your setup...

Thanks a lot. I'd definitely like some more info on this turbo you are talking about. My AIM is Sonnick01 if you want to talk on AIM. I can't find how to PM on this site, but I'd definitely like more info, like price, specs, etc. I'm not looking to get 400whp at this time. I need to be practical with what I would have available (stock block, etc). For now, I'm looking for somewhere around 220+ to the wheels. I figured if I want to upgrade in the future, I'd just get a different turbo.

But I'm definitely looking for a fast spooling turbo good for daily driving. However, I don't want it to crap out before redline (6500 rpm) either. I'm assuming it doesn't because your GSR revs higher
