No, you're going to need to pick 2.5" OR 3" flex pipe and then get a 2.5-3" transition piece.

 

the transition piece...is this something you can buy at autozone or just something a muffler shop would have?

 

I've seen them every ONCE in a while at a well-stocked Kragen as a collector reducer... you can find them for sure at Jegs, probably Summit, and definitely a good exhaust shop. Usually they're sold in pairs for guys reducing the headers on a V8 from 3" collectors to 2.5" pipes.
