To go with a straight thru 3" exhaust. Would it be worthwhile goin 3" downpipe as I've currently got 2.5" and will be changing out my stock 2.25" mid section to 3" downpipe back. How much hp approx will it free up on a B18C?

Ur still limiting the flow (bottleneck) with the 2.5" at the end of the day is it not even tho its 3" at the turbo?

 

Id get the 3" the easier it gets out of there the more power you will make!!!
