1st gen integra guy needs turbo help.
hey, my name is jeff ryan. i have a 1987 acura integra LS. stock d16a1. the engine is all good, good compression, leak down and all. i have a friend with a wreckers, and he has a couple of chrysler turbo's off of 2.5L daytonas'. i dont know much about putting on a turbo at all, and i need to know what has to be done. i dont want to run much boost at all. maybe 4-6 psi for now. do i need to change injectors? do i need a risisng rate fuel pressure regulator? do i need an extra or a bigger feul pump? i dont want to buy any of these things right now. i plan on bolting it to my stock manifold, i have 2 of the same car, so experimentation is fine. any help would be greatly appreciated. i have NO money for this. i just want to get it in and working, then ill do things proper later. i'll mickey mouse this if i have to.

I dont think you should put a turbo on your car. Even a hackass turbo kit will cost around $1000

yeah, well i think that it can be done pretty cheap.
check out this site. granted he blew the first two engines, but only because he ran too much boost. he did one for $230. http://www.homemadeturbo.com
