Default 14b problems(little long)

Just finished my 14b turbo ls in my eg.I had a base map for the tune(by ****) and the car ran great.I had a 9psi sping and got a little over sometimes 10-12 psi,but over all the car pulled like crazy and had full boost around 5krpm.
After 2 days driving the oil feed/drain housing clamp came loose and the turbo shifted lost all power when it happened.I tried to put it where it looked like it was befor but the turbo still isnt working right.I bought the 14b rebuilt and already hooked up on the housing.
Whats wrong now?And how do i fix this?I tried a few positions, some worked better but it hasnt worked right since it came loose. Please any help would be great searched but didnt find enough to help.
thx for any help

i would check to see if the fins hit the housings. if the turbo housing moved while you were driving the car the fins could have been chipped off or broken.

check for shaftplay , meaning , take of your filter thats on the turbo and stick your ahdn ina nd see if you can spin the fin by hand, than grab on to it and try to wobble it in and out and side to side. dont do this while the car is on, do it whiel tis off. if it wobbles around alot , then your turbos pretty much gone and or needs a rebuild.

doesnt seem to be any shaft play and all the fins where the filter was are fine.Cant get a pic till the morn but if you look at a turbo set up it at the exhaust housing side where the clamp came loose.the center section where the oil feed and drains are on is what came loose.after i took the ic coupling off i could spin the turbo and whole oil f/d housing as 1 unit.
Car is just studdering as soon as it starts to build boost and the more i move that section around and retighten it seems to build better boost.Im new to turbo but it seems to me its not seeted properly and loosing boost at that section.
Thanks for the prior post was worried till i checked the fins and shaft

jacked some1(g3nr8) pic but it was the same set up i have. The arrow shows the bracket that came loose and the cirled parts is was spun around. The shaft and fins seemed to be fine and no play but cant build any boost. The turbo screemed befor it came loose now it makes the car studder like crazy.I know nothing really about turbo but still think it has to do with how its seated at that section or i just fecked my turbo and need a new 1

any help would be great ...really lost atm

i did have probs with the charge pipes blwing off at first so i did check them all right away and they held fine.Looks like im going to rip out the mani/turbo and retry install and go from there.im loosing boost at the compressor or i noticed that when my set up shifted the oil return leeked and may have sucked in oil.im going to try new plugs gapped say at 30-33?and try a open dp and see if the converter got clogged
thanks for all the looks and post guys ive been going over it all

he got it from bmc racing(bmc is stamped on the flange) he is on here. As far as the turbo thing, have you checked if the turbo actually spins now. Dont know if it is possible buy you may have broken the shaft when it came apart. Turn the car on and rev it some and see if it spins. The reason your car is sputtering is because the ecu is throwing a ton of gas at it and its not getting any air to accompany it into the cylinders. you are just running pig rich since the turbo is not creating any boost.

I guess I don't understand, the oil line came off, and that alone was the reason for the turbo shifting? By shifting, do you mean it's bolts came lose and moved? You should explain the 'shifting' thing a bit more.

I doubt the ecu would be dumping gas if the turbo wasn't producing air - the ecu bases the fuel needs off the map sensor, w/o boost it's not dumping extra.

You should try looking at the cat, since old ones can get cloged, even moreso if oil was tossed in it. Other than that, I'd check for a free-spinning turbo shaft. If it won't move, it won't boost (and create more backpressure).

well i am just going by a dsm experience. When you blow an ic pipe in a dsm, it starts to studder and run pig rich because a ton of fuel is being thrown at it. I would assume it is the same in a honda, but I could be wrong.....
