Default is 13lbs safe

Hey guys i asked a question yesterday but im thinking maybe i should re word it, i have a LS with stock internals, and RC 440cc injectors, im putting my GSR head on it, my question is this, is 13lbs to much to run on the stock LS internals, i know the injectors are good enough , because i figure an GSR head with a LS block at 13lbs, should only dyno at around 280WHP, just a guess, please correct me if im wrong, its going to be dyno tuned, so thats not a problem, this is a every day driver, so i want to know is this a reliable way to go, or am i going to be asking for trouble, any input , or experiences would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, i want this to be a safe set up, so reliability is a huge factor, i am aware i can push boost high and make alot of HP, but i want something that wont break on me, thanks again

Again, it doesn't matter what psi. Whatever horspower you end up making with a safe duty cycle is all you can make. So if you run out of fuel at 250 whp, it doesn't matter if its 10 or 20 psi. Your not going to reach the stock internal limits of your block with 440cc injectors!!!

so in other words im ok with my set, because i did the injector calculation and they are good for like 350hp, and i only want to run like 12-15 psi, so that is only like 300WHP, so i shouldnt run out of fuel im guessing, thank u for the input

You'll definitely need to bump up the rail pressure to make 300whp on 440's. Check out this thread. It may help:

thanks for the link, i read it, these guys are saying there good for like 300-350HP, im assuming they mean WHP, im not trying to get more then that, the most i think i will get is like 300WHP, and that im thinking is pushing it alot, im happy making like 270WHP, area, i dont want to boost more then like 12-13psi anyways, i only use the car for the street, so over 300WHP is going to be way to much for the street anyways, in ur opinion would the LS/GSR head, on like 12-13 psi, tuned with chrome, what would it make in WHP, because maybe im miss understanding, and i just want to be certain, i think i am still ok because , that linked u sent me said the 440cc are good for like 300-350, i figure im not going to be making that much though, with the way im going , so please correct me, if im miss understanding, i also have a 255 walboro pump, forgot to mention

the reliability will have alot to do with the condition on the motor befor you boost it? do a compressiuon or leakdown test. and dont think you can rev higher now just because you have a gsr head, the ls motors are notorious for having weak rod bolts that lead to spun bearings.
