I am about to start buying parts for my winter project, which will hopefully take me to 12 seconds. My question is what will it take to get me there....(from what i have heard b18bturbo is the man to ask.) and I have a b18b. So far i want to know, what type/ size turbo i need. I am thinking a t3/t04, but am not sure about trim size. I am planning on doing the basics WG, BOV, IC etc. as well as Hondata, injectors etc.

The questions I have are....
1. What type/size turbo I need.
2. What type of internal work I need.....I was thinking porting my LS head, turbo cams, blockguard, and maybe pistons/rods. depending on $$$$
3. What do I need to do to help traction? other than a nice set of slicks.
4. Any other things I may have left out.
I am very serious about getting this done, but before I begin to buy my parts I want to get as much feedback as possible.

well i would rather suggest you make this next years winter project and spend a year doing research.
ive been interesting in tegs for 3 years (started with purehonda.com), and have been interested in FI for a little over a year, and i still think i dont know much, but am beginning to order stuff...

ALL U NEED TO RUN 12's IN A B18B: is a Revhard kit and slicks! run 9lbs, take out the spare, seats and run a 1/4 tank. drive the **** outta the car and u will do 12's if ur track is good and u can drive.

9lbs isnt gonna make an LS go boom. ive run mine at 9 on plenty of occasions. just need some slicks and its an easy 12.9. thats w/ 14k turbo racing miles too.

i have run 12 on stock ls daily driven for the longest time in my old hatch.. it was no problem just have to have your car tuned right.. and you shouldnt have any issues. LS is so easy to boost.

Alright, thanks for the info. I was planning on setting aside alot of money for tunning anyway. Thats from what I understood one of the best investements. I didn't realize it was that easy to hit 12 secs. So assuming I have a blockguard, and running 8.5:1 with new rods, what is the max boost I will be able to run? (with proper tunning)?
